- Tea Ceremony
- 'Sado' or 'Cha-no-yu' is the way to serve tea.
It is perfected by 'Sennorikyu' during Azuchimomoyama era(16th century).
Understand ideas and way of Life through the ceremony.
There is the word of Zen 'Kissako' which means 'Let's have tea'.
It is important Zen idea that even being busy everyday ,people need to relax and be yourself.
Sado is heavily influenced by Zen.
Today,Zen is rated highly in overseas.
Through the experience of Tea ceremony, we hope you can feel and know more deeply about Japan.
okeikoJapan invites teachers from different school of Tea ceremony, and give lesson everyday.
We hope you enjoy 'Kissako' with seasonal scenery of the garden, atmosphere and Omotenashi.
